Treatments

We want to make sure your child recieves the best care possible. For this reason we offer the following treatments

ABA Therapy

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a practical, science-based way to help children learn skills and reduce behaviors that get in the way of daily life. We start by getting to know your child—what they enjoy, what’s hard, and why certain behaviors might happen. Then we set clear, meaningful goals (like asking for help, following routines, playing with others, or staying calm when plans change) and teach them in small steps. We use positive reinforcement—celebrating and rewarding progress—so helpful behaviors happen more often. We also break bigger tasks into doable parts and practice skills in real situations at home, school, and the community so they “stick.” Throughout, we track progress with simple data and adjust the plan when something isn’t working. Parents are true partners: we coach you on what to do between sessions so progress continues. Ethical ABA centers dignity, consent, and your family’s values, with the aim of building communication, confidence, and independence.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy helps your child move with more strength, balance, and confidence in everyday life. We start by seeing how they sit, stand, walk, play, and use their body, then set clear goals—like safer walking, better posture, jumping, stairs, or keeping up at the playground. Sessions are active and fun: guided play, targeted exercises, and practice with things like balance, coordination, and core strength. We break skills into small steps and use encouragement and rewards so progress builds. If equipment could help (for example, shoe inserts, walkers, or wheelchairs), we explain options in plain language and work closely with your child’s doctors and school. You’ll always know what we’re working on and why; we show you simple activities to do at home so gains last. Our goal is practical: fewer falls, easier movement, more endurance, and more independence—so your child can join in the things they love.

Speech Therapy

Speech therapy helps your child communicate clearly and confidently—in words, gestures, pictures, or a device if needed. We begin by understanding how they make sounds, use words and sentences, follow directions, and connect with others, then set practical goals like saying new sounds, growing vocabulary, starting conversations, or taking turns in play. Sessions feel like guided play: storytelling, games, and real-life practice that build articulation, language, social communication, and fluency (for stuttering) step by step. If augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) could help, we introduce it in a supportive, stigma-free way so your child has a reliable voice right away. You’ll always know what we’re targeting and why; we coach you with simple strategies for mealtimes, routines, and school so progress carries over. Our aim is everyday wins—being understood, expressing needs, joining conversations, and enjoying the back-and-forth of connecting with family and friends.

Ocupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps your child build the everyday skills they need to be more independent, comfortable, and confident. We begin by learning how they handle routines like dressing, feeding, writing, play, and transitions—plus how sights, sounds, and textures affect them. Then we set clear goals tailored to your family’s priorities, such as using utensils, fastening clothes, improving hand strength and grasp for school tasks, or staying calm and focused during busy moments. Sessions are fun and practical: play-based activities for fine-motor control, sensory regulation, coordination, and problem-solving, broken into small, achievable steps. We share simple strategies and home activities so progress continues between visits, and we collaborate with teachers and doctors as needed. The result: smoother routines, better participation at school and home, and more confidence to take on new challenges.
