Occupational therapy addresses the skills and conditions required to participate in them.<\/p>\n<p>We assess fine motor and visual-motor skill, sensory processing, postural control and independence in self-care, then set functional goals drawn from your family priorities: managing fasteners, using utensils, sustaining a writing task, or tolerating a classroom environment.<\/p>\n<div class=\"sfg-note\"><span class=\"sfg-kicker\">On the term occupational<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It is frequently misread as vocational.
